Here I am. As I get ready to rollout my new website at bestofjess.com, I am relaunching my blog alongside.

What’s the blog about, you ask? Of all the words that can be used to describe me — insert humorous options here — a few that float to the top are social butterfly, motivated, opinionated (though non-judgmental — thanks for that, Ogun), food-lovin’ and finally, the one that is the reason for the new website: useful.

I, it turns out, am dead useful. I connect people: jobs, talents, new friends. I know answers to bizarre variety of questions. I always know something that’s going on in Kansas City for the active, urban young person. So as a true social media nerd-ess, I’ve decided to digitize my usefulness.

And now, here you are. You’ve found my blog and want to know what goodies await you. From food to music to Kansas City to networking with young professionals, there’s a lot to be said. I love people. I love Kansas City. I love music. I love food. If you love those things, too, come on in and get acquainted. We’ll get along juuuust fine.
